Great Location

A number of previous guests to the hotel made specific comments on its central town location as being very convenient during their stay. The easy and fast shuttle to the ski fields and mountains was also mentioned as a highlight across reviews.

Super Helpful Staff

The staff at the hotel rated highly across a number of reviews with many previous guests singling out the reception and concierge staff as being particularly helpful and only too happy to go above and beyond their duties to ensure that guests had a comfortable stay.

Recent Renovations

Some guests who were fortunate to stay in recently renovated rooms left comments in their reviews that the hotel had obviously put a lot of effort and thought into the upgrades and this translated into a comfortable stay for a number of guests.

Negative Reviews

A Little Over-rated

Some guests to the hotel commented that for the price paid the room and amenities where not up to the standard expected, with many previous guests complaining that the room was small, that it was difficult to maintain a constant temperature (because of the age of the heating/cooling system) and that there were multiple stains on toilets which needed attention.

Signs of Neglect

Some previous guests commented that they felt that the hotel had let its up-keep slip with some saying that there were cracks in the ceiling and peeling paint on the walls which left guests feeling that the hotel was in generally poor shape and in need of some TLC.

Lack of Comfort

Some guests made specific remarks in their reviews about their disappointment at the lack of overall comfort mostly because of the lack of sound proofing between rooms and common areas (particularly on lower floors) and lack of frequent changes of linens and towels
