Positive Reviews

Rock-bottom prices

The rates suit even the tightest of budgets, with very low prices for the eco and standard room options, and a slightly overpriced but still very affordable rate for the deluxe option.

Service with a smile

Despite incredibly low prices, you can expect efficient service with a smile. Personnel are friendly and helpful, making you feel very welcome. Staff will be happy to provide comprehensive directions and will accommodate check-in or check-out outside the usual hours.

Great location for public transport

Situated next to Bangkok's main railway station, known as Hua Lamphong, there are over-ground and underground trains right on the doorstep. These connect you with the rest of the city or to other parts of Thailand.

Negative Reviews

Proximity to train station means lots of noise

While the name is apt because of the railway station being opposite, it does mean that accommodations are subject to lots of noise. In addition to the trains, there is often heavy traffic on the road outside and the guesthouse's old air-conditioners are noisy. Ask for a room at the back for minimum disturbance.

Tiny eco and standard rooms

Although you'd expect compact accommodation due to the cheap rates offered here, the eco and standard rooms are overly cramped. You'll have just enough room to squeeze past the bed, so for a more comfortable experience, pay extra for a deluxe room.

Some accommodations are windowless

The deluxe rooms offer much more than the echo and standard rooms in terms of space and amenities, however, some of them do not have any windows. Request a deluxe room with a window to avoid disappointment, or book an eco or standard room which all have windows.
