Positive Reviews

Typical Travelodge good value

If you happen to be in northern Wales and are in need of somewhere spacious, clean and good value for money, then Travelodge bangor should be right up your alley.

Views, portal to wilderness, accessible

With mountain views from the hotel itself, this is a great base if you are planning on daytripping into the Snowdonia National Park, or seeing other parts of the Welsh countryside Likewise, those just stopping by on the way to the Ireland ferry or in the area for something like Zip World will find the location close to the A55 handy, but not loud from the traffic.

Facilities around hotel good

The fact the hotel is based at a petrol station gives certain advantages; namely that you can be assured of plenty of free parking, can easily tank up and there are places to eat, such as Little Chef, Burger King and Wimpy.

Negative Reviews

Food options questionable

You may want to consider travelling into Bangor itself for more eating options, as the fast-food fare on offer is mainly greasy and not to everyone’s taste.

Most staff great, but…

Guests were generally impressed with the staff members at Travelodge Bangor and found them to be very friendly, however there have been a handful of encounters where guests have been left feeling as if their questions and check-in was nothing but a chore.

Restoration could be used

Given the value for money, not many people seemed to be too fussed with this issue, but a few thought the hotel could do with a refresh, and especially needed to replace the windows.
