Positive Reviews

Get a sea view room

The great thing about rooms at this hotel is that most of them have a sea view Waking up and looking out the window to see the water is such a relaxing feeling, especially for those not accustomed to seeing beaches Make sure you request one of these rooms!

Ensuite is a plus

Having your own ensuite bathroom is always a perk for smaller hotels If you don’t like sharing a bathroom with the whole hotel then you should be happy with these rooms The ensuite bathrooms aren’t huge, but they serve their purpose.

Perfect pier location

Most Brighton visitors spend time at the pier, which happens to be less than a five minute walk from the hotel You can spend all day shopping, dining and swimming, knowing that your bed for the night is just right down the road.

Negative Reviews

Dirty everything

From the old décor to the lack thereof, not much at this property is quality Blinds are ripped, sheets uncertain, toilets discolored and smelly The staff, when you can find them, seems to know there are problems with the rooms and yet make no effort to fix them.

Does management even exist?

There seems to be only one person working at the hotel and only during certain hours No one can be found in the early morning and no one is around at night if there are any unruly guests disturbing others They should look into hiring more staff so that guests can be taken care of around the clock.

Parking problems

If you are driving to this hotel, be prepared to spend some money at a nearby car park There are only two parking spots onsite that can be reserved ahead of time Even if you book one, they may give your spot away before you arrive The nearby car park is very expensive, so just be prepared.
