Positive Reviews

Easy access to beach and city centre

The beach is easily accessible with a ten-minute walk and there is a bus stop a few minutes' walk away for the centre of town which is approximately five-minutes' drive away. Arakwal National Park is a five-minute drive away and the Cape Byron Lighthouse can be reached within 12-minutes' drive.

Friendly and accommodating staff

The staff have been described as friendly, helpful and accommodating. The atmosphere at the park is also friendly and relaxed.

Well maintained grounds and accommodation

The park grounds are clean and well maintained regularly. The cabins and villas are also well presented and self-contained with all the necessary requirements for a comfortable stay provided.

Negative Reviews

Algae covered pool

Guests reported that the swimming pool is not well maintained and at times they were unable to go for a swim due to algae growing in the pool.

Facilities need upgrading

Guests reported that the number of toilets and shared shower facilities are insufficient to cater to all the residents at the park. During peak times in particular guests have been waiting for long periods to use these facilities. Guests also reported that the shared bathrooms also require more regular cleaning. Cabins and villas that are not equipped with air conditioning would also benefit from upgrades as they can become uncomfortably hot and stuffy during the warmer months.

Seasonal on-site cafe

The hotel's  website displays a map of the grounds which shows that a cafe is available on-site. Guests however reported that the cafe is seasonal and only open during particularly months.
