Positive Reviews

Magical location

Reviewers are blown away by this hotel's location. It's just about as good as it gets - the Great Pyramid and Sphinx are just across the way, and the famous nighttime sound and light show can be enjoyed for free on the rooftop.

Friendly and hospitable staff

Guests from all around the world feel right at home at this hotel. The staff go above and beyond to ensure that all their guests' needs are taken care of. Positive reviews mention the tour and travel assistance offered by the hotel as well. Satisfied guests often thank specific employees by name in their comments.

Can't beat the value

Visitors appreciate the fact that this hotel strives to offer high-quality budget accommodation. They say that the combination of location, amenities, and service make it a very tempting choice for budget-conscious travellers in Cairo.

Negative Reviews

Could be cleaner

Visitors say that this hotel is not the cleanest place around. They mention that there is a lot of sand in the hotel, and that the bathrooms could be better looked after than they appear to be.

Old rooms seem to be less appealing

This hotel has some renovated rooms, and some older rooms. Reviewers think that the older rooms at this hotel could use an update. The facilities in them are described as basic, and the soundproofing is not adequate for many light sleepers.

Some rooms lack an en-suite bathroom

Some of the rooms at this hotel do not have a private bathroom. This means that guests have to leave their room and walk down the hallway to use the bathroom, bringing their room key with them. For many, this is simply annoying.
