Guests say the property is a good base for exploring Carmel-by-the-Sea. Locates just two blocks from Ocean Avenue, it's a short walk to downtown and the many art galleries, shops and restaurants.

Rooms here are spacious and clean and many guests say the beds are extra-large and comfortable.

Out-of-Date Décor

The motel is decorated in a Victorian Country Inn-style, with lots of floral fabric and heavy drapes. Many guests say the rooms are old-fashioned and the décor is tired and some of the furniture is just old, rather than 'antique.'.
