About Hotel Arthur KITAHAMA BASE

1768 saw the birth of the Bath Theatre Royal, the first outside London and in March 1863 the current building was inaugurated with a performance of "A Midsummer Nights Dream". Extensive renovations were done in 1982 and also recently on the Ustinov Studio Theatre which dates from 1997. Theatre tours which have a duration of approximately 45 minutes are available at 11h00 on the first Wednesday and following Saturday of the month at a tariff of £4 per adult. Ample parking is available and facilities include various restaurants. There is also a "Lunch and Listen" special, details of which are provided at the website. A number of workshops for children of all ages are available and there is also the Young Peoples Theatre which produces its own shows.
