Positive Reviews

Bright and Airy

The whole house is very well lit, even with just natural lighting. This plays a big part in the feel of a house which many guests have said makes the space very homey. The view from the upper levels is perfect and picturesque.

Friendliness is Their Export

Many guests state the Lady of the House met them outside and was very helpful. She is apparently the lifeblood of the place and is just a joy to be around. Not to mention the breakfast staff was very friendly, and can make a wonderful Irish breakfast.

Value is Everything

All guests stated that the space was extremely affordable, but this by no means is a reflection of the quality. For how much you pay, you end up getting way more back, not to mention it is very close to a city centre with shops and restaurants.

Negative Reviews

Odd Structures Abound

Perhaps it is because of the continued renovations throughout the years, but guests report that the structure of the rooms is odd. The blockwork ends a foot from the roof and the flow and feel of the room seems disjointed.

The Walls Have Ears

Guests state that the walls are quite thin and that every cough, sneeze, or conversation can readily be heard by neighbours. This was off-putting to most who didn't care for that kind of socialising. Televisions could be heard through the walls, as well as the noise from the rooms above.

First Come, First Served Parking

There are only a few parking spaces near the establishment, so guests report having to find parking spaces elsewhere, which was very inconvenient when carrying luggage. Additionally, it was difficult to maneuverer into the spaces, if they were open.
