Positive Reviews

Great location for exploring KL

Staying in this centrally located hotel makes visiting Kuala Lumpur's main attractions relatively simple. Guests say there are plenty of restaurants and cafes around the hotel too.

Inexpensive accommodation

For such a central location guests find this hostel to be, comparatively speaking, very cheap.

Hostel is quite well-equipped

You may be surprised to find Wi-Fi, cable TV and air-conditioning in this establishment.

Negative Reviews

Hostel is in a filthy state

You may come to the conclusion that this hotel is “dirt cheap” - quite literally. It may not cost a great deal, that's true, but you may regret not paying a bit extra to stay somewhere clean. Guests say the place is old, poorly maintained, smelly and full of bed bugs and cockroaches.

Rude staff

Guests comment that the staff can be very unfriendly and impolite. Worse than that, they constantly try to trick guests out of more money and try and overcharge them for their rooms.

Not conducive to a good night's sleep

The streets around the hotel are very noisy and the hotel is poorly soundproofed, so you may find it difficult to sleep soundly. Guests say the walls are thin and if you are in a room next to reception you're likely to be disturbed by the staff talking loudly. What's more, the hotel is very hot and whilst you do have air-conditioning, this is extremely cold and blows directly onto your bed. Guests say you can't control the temperature either – so you take your choice at the end of the day– what will it be? freezing cold or roasting hot?
