Positive Reviews

Recently renovated rooms.

The bedrooms in this hotel have recently undergone refurbishment and now boast the hotel chain’s new look. You’ll find the rooms are clean and comfortable and, although basic, contain all the essentials.

Ample facilities and amenities nearby.

The hotel’s location near the town centre means that you’ll find a great selection of shops, restaurants and entertainment venues within a short stroll of the property. Of course, this also means there is some external noise but nothing that a pair of ear

Charming staff.

As with most hotels in the Travelodge chain, you can expect excellent customer service here. The staff put guest comfort and convenience first and are more than happy to offer tips about the local area.

Negative Reviews

Parking situation can be frustrating.

This hotel doesn't have its own car park so guests are directed to nearby paid spaces. During the daytime, you’ll need to feed the meter every four hours. This gets a little frustrating if you’re trying to enjoy some downtime.

No air conditioning in the rooms.

Unfortunately, this hotel doesn't have air-conditioning in the rooms. This means that they can get quite stuffy at times. Fans are available to loan from reception, although you’ll need to be quick as they are allocated on a first come, first served basis

Some guests felt they paid too much.

While most guests feel they have enjoyed good value for money here, others remark that they felt they had paid too much for their stay. Booking early enables you to secure the best rates, so it pays to plan your trip as far in advance as possible.
