Terrific location.

Guests absolutely raved about the central location of this friendly B&B – right in the heart of London and walking distance to popular tourist destinations as well as Kings Cross and Eurostar stations. The Fairway is also close to good restaurants.

Superb staff.

Guests complimented staff with attending to requests like room changes and complaints. The cooked-to-order English breakfast was also a big hit because of what many described as excellent customer service.

Good for short stays.

The guests who enjoyed their experience the most were people in town for one or two day sightseeing and business trips. Most who complimented the hotel called it a good, well presented bargain. The vast majority of guests also gave the facility high marks

Negative Reviews

The rooms are a bit cramped.

Most guests found their rooms were bit too small. Those who stayed in double rooms said they were more suitable for one guest.

Bring earplugs.

Many guests complained that the walls between the rooms were too thin and badly soundproofed. Some complained of noise from guests overhead or in the halls. A few wrote about the rumbling of multiple tube lines beneath them, but most liked this noise.

Breakfast is hit and miss.

A lot of guests had no complaints about breakfast which they said wasn’t fancy but adequate in quality and generous in quantity. That said, many guests did not fancy breakfast and recommended eating at a nearby café. Many said the selection was small and
