Positive Reviews

Great area.

The main highlight for guests that stayed at Lord Kensington was the hotel’s location. This establishment is close to two tube stations, making it easier to travel to Central London to see the attractions. There are many places to eat and drink in the Kensington area as well as being a good area for shopping. This location is ideal if you’re looking for accommodation in London.

Clean rooms.

Most travellers advised the rooms were spotless and the level of cleanliness was high.

Good employees.

The response from visitors regarding the service they received from staff members was mixed. Some travellers found the hotel employees to be surly and impolite while others stated exactly the opposite. They advised the staff members were amiable and efficient. The positive responses just outweighed the negative ones.

Negative Reviews

Small rooms.

There were some complaints from guests regarding the size of the rooms. They advised the rooms were tiny and lacked space, with no wardrobe to hang up their clothes and no space to place their luggage. This hotel does have a storage facility for luggage but not every guest feels comfortable about placing their luggage in storage.

Not silent.

Some visitors were unhappy about the amount of noise both inside and outside the hotel. They remarked there was too much noise from passing trains and the hotel wasn’t properly insulated. Others stated they were kept awake by doors slamming and other guests talking in their rooms. It is best if you decide to stay at Lord Kensington to book a room away from the front of the hotel as some travellers advised this area is particularly noisy.

Awful breakfast.

A number of guests complained about the standard of breakfast. They advised the portions were small and the quality of food was poor.
