Positive Reviews

Ideal location for Haram

You couldn't be much better located than the Dar Al Eiman Royal for visiting the Haram. This is the main reason why guests tend to chose this hotel and why it is so large!Right in front of the mosque it is perfectly situated for most guests and ideal for elderly or those with mobility issues. Guests also appreciate being able to nip into the Safwa Towers for a take-away or look around its shops.

Nice and comfortable rooms

Guests find the rooms to be of a pretty good standard. Spacious and comfortable, they are also well-maintained and clean.

Lots of lifts

Do not estimate how important lifts are in such a colossal hotel! Guests who are used to similar type hotels delight in able to being able to take a lift whenever they want without waiting around for ages.

Negative Reviews

Slow service

Guest after guest complains about the poor quality of the service. Perhaps the hotel is understaffed for such a huge capacity or the staff need improved training? Whatever the reason, many guests can't fathom why check-in is so laboriously slow and unnecessarily complicated. A nice smile from the staff doesn't cost much either. Reception often ignore calls from guests and room service seems to be notoriously slow. So much so that a lot of guests just can't be bothered with it.

Poor breakfast

The buffet breakfast attracts many adverse comments. Guests find it very limited and of poor quality. You can't expect to find fresh fruit for example.

No parking

Many guests are surprised to find that the hotel has no parking of its own. They have to park in privately owned car parks nearby which are very expensive.
