Positive Reviews

Plenty of parking in the area

Guests reported that, while the hotel itself does not have its own parking lot, there was plenty of parking in the immediate neighbourhood. They never seemed to struggle to find a bay near the hotel.

Great location for shopping

The large Aeon Shopping Centre is virtually across the road from the hotel. Guests found this very convenient, since they could do all the practical shopping they needed to close to their hotel.

Chic design

As far as appearance was concerned, the hotel’s “industrial-chic” design was a big hit with guests. They found it to be very attractive and it made them feel they were staying in a very trendy hotel.

Negative Reviews

Lighting is a bit dim

Guests complained that the light bulbs used throughout were either of an insufficient strength, or insufficient in number. This resulted in dim rooms and hallways that gave guests a bit of an eerie feeling.

Some distance from the city

Guests who did not have their own transport reported that the distance to the historic town centre was just a little too far to do comfortably on the several occasions they wanted to head there.

Sound tends to travel here

The design at this hotel is very industrial, with lots of bare floors and brick walls. Guests reported that this tended to make sound carry, causing them to be able to hear noise from adjacent rooms and public areas of the hotel.
