Situated right opposite Melbourne’s famous Prahran Market, L'emporia Apartments are brand new, stylish and offer guests chic self-catering close to the CBD.

The trendy one and two bedroom apartments not only look good, but have all the amenities you could possibly want, from fully equipped kitchens with laundry facilities to flat screen TV’s and Wi-Fi (fee) to allow you to stay informed, entertained and connected.

The focus at L'emporia Apartments is on the apartments and their many amenities and there are limited public facilities. Reception is open limited hours.

There are no dining facilities onsite, but the fully equipped kitchens are always available if you’d like to make a quick snack or full meal. Alternatively, there are a number of great restaurants in the area. Reception staff will be happy to offer recommendations.

The Prahran Market is well known for its food stalls, offering cuisine from around the world. It is just across the road.

Positive Reviews

Very good location

Guests clearly liked the location of the apartments. Apart from the immediate area, which was said to be especially good for shopping, dining and nightlife, guests also mentioned that it was close to the Prahran Station from where they could quickly get into the heart of the CBD.

Apartments very well equipped

Guest after guest mentioned being very satisfied with the way the apartments were equipped. They report not really finding anything that they could point out that they needed, but was not present in their apartment. The laundry facilities were especially appreciated.

Spotlessly clean

One of the first things guests mentioned in their reviews was that their apartment was simply spotlessly clean when they checked in, with very, very few complaints to be found in the reviews.

Negative Reviews

No onsite staff outside business hours

A number of guests reported that the reception desk was only staffed during business hours. Many found this to be a problem since issues didn’t only arise at these times, but at any time of day and night. They were generally not happy that small problems, like their TV not working properly for example, could only be seen to the next day.

Very noisy environment

The apartments are located in a very busy area that is especially popular at night. Guests reported that at weekends, when many visited the areas bars and clubs, the noise could get quite bad. They did not believe effective soundproofing had been installed.

No onsite parking

Motorists were very disappointed to find that the parking was not actually at the apartment building, but some walk away. Some merely found this inconvenient, while others thought that it represented safety issues when parking late at night.
