The breakfast buffet is very impressive

With a wide choice of freshly prepared foods on offer, the breakfast buffet at this hotel gets great feedback from satisfied guests. From fresh pastries to eggs just how you like them and fruity smoothies, visitors found the food and drinks at breakfast to be delicious and plentiful.

It's in a fantastic location

Situated at the "Paris" end of Collins Street, this much loved hotel is within walking distance of some of Melbourne's great shops, bars and restaurants.Federation Square and attractions like Cook's Cottage are also just a short stroll away, making it a popular base for exploring the city.

Using the Wi-Fi is not as easy as it should be

Unfortunately, some frustrated guests could not access the free public Wi-Fi in Sofitel Melbourne on Collins. Other guests found it out-dated that there was a charge for accessing the Wi-Fi service in rooms and some have had issues with its slow speed.

Some areas are looking a little dated

A few guests have pointed out that some furniture in this hotel are starting to look a little tired and that bringing them up to date would bring them in line with the overall feel of the hotel and its staff.

Bathrooms seem old and dark
