Positive Reviews

Quality counts

Large and comfy beds are just a couple of things to rave about here. Also, prepare to be impressed by the great spa as well as the food on offer. Dinner is to die for, but they also do a pretty mean breakfast too.

Great staff in all areas of the hotel

Really friendly and efficient staff set the seal on a great stay. From Reception to Restaurant and Bar, they couldn’t be bettered and deserve a rosette of their own.

Great for business

The hotel’s ultra impressive location, surrounded by woodland, tennis courts and the like, make it ideal for conferences and meetings. With no distractions, business can be sorted out quickly and efficiently before delegates hit some of the other facilities on offer here.

Negative Reviews

Why the iffy Wi-Fi!

In a place that, justifiably, boasts glorious surrounds, sweeping tennis courts and sumptuous quality, it is nigglingly annoying to find that the slow functioning Wi-Fi can only be solved by investing financially, in something quicker! It’s a small thing that, in this situation, becomes a significant problem.

Air con smell

Don’t know where it’s coming from but there is a very strange and worrying smell in the Dining Room via the air conditioning unit.

Added expenses that are difficult to digest

They are having a laugh, surely! Bar prices are sufficiently shocking to make you spill your drink anyway, the choices of bottled drinks are minimal and unless you are ridiculously ‘flushed’, the price of breakfast will put you off food for the rest of the day.
