Positive Reviews

This is the real Rome

This is really an opportunity to experience Rome in the company of locals and here, the owners couldn’t be more friendly or helpful. If you want to get away from the well-trodden tourist paths, this is a place to consider. Having said that; places such as the Vatican are actually very close by.

Promoting a modern image

The property has some appeal and lives up well to the images in the publicity. There’s nothing very dated about the accommodation which is very modern in style. Beds are comfortable and the room is kept in a very clean state. So, there are full marks for housekeeping. Everything is provided; even the toiletries ... in what is really quite an attractive bathroom. Also, ask in advance and you’ll get a balcony to your room.

Magical parking solutions

There is no parking onsite, but the ultra-helpful owners will point you in the direction of a nearby parking area.

Negative Reviews

A watered-down breakfast

Breakfast is a very poor start to the day. There is very little choice and not much content … just discontent! The free bottled water does little to compensate.

Not a good view from the bridge

The nearest metro station is a 10-minute walk away. That’s no problem, but you have to negotiate very heavy traffic and a bridge. It’s not something you’ll look forward to. At night, the prospect is particularly daunting.

Suburbia: with little Rome-style

Italian breakfasts are an acquired taste and not universally liked. The area around the hotel is rather mundane and doesn’t reflect, in any way, what the tourist wants from their visit to Rome.
