About St John's Terrace

The six bedrooms are elegantly decorated with parquet floors. They all come with flat-screen TV, heating, private shower and hairdryer.

Wi-Fi is available for free at St John's Terrace. Guests have free use of a shaded outdoor terrace with heating – ideal for sitting out with a glass of wine or socialising with other guests.

Positive Reviews

Classy and clean

Guests are often surprised at the style and quality of this guesthouse. The rooms are nicely designed, very clean and well-maintained. Guests appreciate having unlimited drinks from the coffee machine or sitting out on the amazing communal terrace. Many enjoy devouring the tasty breakfast served here each morning or retreating here at the end of the day with a glass of wine in hand.

Calm and convenient

If you want Rome's historical attractions at arm's reach, but would rather avoid the constant noise at night, this place could suit you down to the ground. You're located in a quiet district of Rome, yet the nearby metro stations can get you to the centre or the Termini railway station in no time at all. Guests also say that it is a pleasant 15 to 20 minute walk to the Colloseum.

Cordial and kind

The hosts at the guesthouse help make your stay complete. Guests praise them for their amazing hospitality - which even starts before arrival with information-packed emails. They are extremely helpful and always delighted to give advice.

Negative Reviews

Shower issues

Guests are not too happy having to wander along the corridor to have a shower - even if it is a private bathroom. To make matters worse, there is little space to get changed and you may have to make a run for it to get back to your room, with just a towel to save your blushes.

Unreliable lift

As the guesthouse is located on the seventh floor, a lift is an absolute necessity. However, guests say that there is only one of them, which is very small and not very reliable. It always seems to get stuck, or won't function if left open.

Air conditioning problems

Guests point out some problems with leaking or malfunctioning air conditioning machines.
