Mälardrottningen Yacht Hotel & Restaurant

Mälardrottningen hotel is located on a boat that is moored at the Stockholm's downtown marina on the Lake Malaren. This three-star hotel is within walking distance from the center of the Swedish capital city, with the bars and restaurants of the Gamla Stan district not further than 1 mile away. Central station is a five-minute taxi ride away, while the airport is some 30 miles far.

This yacht was built in 1924 and reconstructed in the 1980's using mahogany and brass elements to offer conditions on par with any other hotel. The boat houses 61 rooms/cabins distributed over three decks and provides free wireless internet and a sauna for its guests. The restaurant is open from Tuesday to Saturday, while a complimentary breakfast is served every morning.

Guestrooms/cabins are available in various sizes, and some of them offer sea views. Accommodation units are air-conditioned and come equipped with toilets, showers, television, direct-dial phones and windows that can be opened. Laundry service and parking spaces are also available.

The entire hotel is a smoke free zone and conference facilities are present.
