Positive Reviews

Responsive Staff Members

Guests said the hotel employees were very attentive to their needs. They commented that many of the staff were young, but their ages did not result in incompetence. Instead, the staff were very energetic and seemed committed to making things right.

A Decent Value for Money

Guests often stayed here because they were trying to enjoy Tokyo on a modest budget. They usually found this hotel was sufficient for that purpose, because although the rooms were a bit basic, they also offered standard comforts for very nice prices.

Excellent Communal Facilities

Guests appreciated the hotel's free laundry facilities, the living area, and especially, the well equipped and spacious kitchen. They even commented that the shared bathrooms were well kept and tidier than expected.

Negative Reviews

You Must Remove Your Shoes

Some guests found it frustrating that the hotel has a rule about removing shoes in the lobby area. Although slippers are provided, guests had trouble adjusting to the habit. However, this specific factor did not usually make guests very upset, but more mildly inconvenienced.

The Rooms Are Tiny

If you come here expecting large rooms, you'll likely be disappointed. Guests said the rooms were cramped, but some clarified that seems to be a regional standard. Furthermore, guests said the bathrooms here were especially small.

Difficult to Find

Because this property is located off the main road, some guests said it was harder to locate than they expected. Many had much better luck when they did research beforehand and got directions, or used GPS devices, rather than just driving around and hoping to find it. However, being on a back road, guests said it was close to numerous appealing attractions, plus the Nezu subway station.
