Hotel Drury Inn & Suites Louisville East (Louisville, USA)

Not only did this Drury Inn & Suites property prove to be great for downtown Louisville and a number of area attractions, but guests really loved that there was so much choice in terms of restaurants in close proximity to this hotel. The Starbucks across the street was a real perk with guests.

It was the little extras that really lifted the overall guest experience here. The swim-through indoor/outdoor pool was an absolute hit, especially with younger guests. Additionally, guests raved about the family-friendly Kickback happy hour hosted daily by this property; the range of food was impressive. In addition to afternoon popcorn, this property’s complimentary breakfast has also won many fans. These points really helped to raise the profile of this hotel.

This hotel is incredibly popular with those traveling in groups. Indeed, the team here seem to be at their best when dealing with large bookings, going out of their way to be helpful and offering assistance as needed. But on the whole, the staff here are indeed an exemplary crew, polite, professional and just generally genial.

Many guests – especially those with rooms located near elevators – complained about noise. This was a particular problem when large parties and groups were present, with widespread reports of corridor noise.

Many also felt put-off by the presence of pets in this hotel. There were reports of guests being disturbed by the barks of dogs in neighboring rooms.

Though popular with groups, this hotel’s public areas appeared to struggle with large parties. Elevators were often slow and overcrowded as was the atrium and breakfast area, where seating was an issue during peak times.
