Right at the heart of the city, the hotel is close to many areas of interest such as the Botanical Gardens which are few miles away and the MRT station just a short stroll from the hotel. There are plenty of pubs and restaurants in the area serving great cuisine to cater to a wide variety of tastes. The Orchard Road shopping district is perfect for those interested in shopping as there are numerous boutiques near the hotel.

A few guests were very disappointed by the high noise levels experienced during their stay at the hotel. Those most affected had rooms near the construction sites that were running daily. Some felt the renovations were too disturbing to their sleep and woke them up much earlier than they had anticipated.
