The hotel is in a convenient position close to Chinatown's shopping and dining as well as cultural places of interest. It is also just a short walk from the MRT station which in turn puts you in easy reach of most of the rest of the city.
The hotel's interior is very minimalist and chic with interesting textures and artworks making up part of the décor.
The hotel is well priced considering it is in a vibrant location without being noisy, is modern and well-appointed and designed and has all you might need for a one or two-day stopover in the city/area as it is easy and quick to get around including to the airport. Furthermore, the choice of eating spots in the area is broad and probably a saving rather than having fees added to the room charge were there an in-house restaurant.
There is no on-site dining option or bar/lounge so guests will have to venture out to eat, however there are several restaurants as well as open markets etc. in the area so there is no shortage of choice.
On the whole, most guests concur that the rooms are very tight on space even for one person, while most of them accommodate up to two. There may not even be enough room to store luggage away for those with bigger/more bags, so it may be worth paying the extra amount for a bigger room which may even be on a higher floor with a view.
Some of the guest rooms, more likely the smaller ones, have no windows which seems to create an issue with ventilation and of course no natural light in the room.
