Review summary
Summarized by AI from 300+ reviews
A no-frills city base for independent travelers.
This property serves as a functional, no-frills base for sightseers prioritizing a central location over full-service hospitality. The hotel sits alongside the Russell Square underground station and is rounded out by basic facilities like luggage storage for early arrivals. While the British Museum is just a short walk away, guests should note that the property operates without any on-site dining, requiring visitors to plan their own meals at the many nearby cafes and restaurants.
Some guests mentioned: unresponsive staff, dated rooms, noise disturbances.
