A number of previous guests to the hotel commented on the lobby with many remarking that it has an old world elegance and charm that exudes vintage style. The spectacual staircase which dominates the lobby also rated highly amoungst previous visitors to the hotel.

A number of guest reviewers left comments about the very small size of the rooms at this hotel, with many remarking that they were particularly disappointed at the size in relation to the price paid. Some guests also left comments that the hotel could invest in additional sound-proofing between rooms as they were disturbed by noisy neighbours.
Some guests felt that the ambience of the lobby did not translate to other areas of the hotel and suggested that management invest in upgrading the furnishings and furniture in rooms and common areas. Some guests also felt that the bathrooms needed an overhaul due to the old mold in the showers.
