The Metropolitan Hotel & Spa

The Metropolitan is an international standard luxury hotel located in New Delhi, just a short walk from Connaught Place and 15km from the international airport. Its position on a quiet side street enables the hotel to offer a level of tranquility that can be hard to find in India's capital city. The hotel has 185 rooms laid out over 8 storeys. All rooms have shower and bath, digital flat screen televisions, mini-bar, wi-fi internet and work desks. Services include a 24 hour travel desk, a business centre, room service, car and driver rental, and a 24 hour on-call doctor. The hotel has a large outdoor swimming pool, a shopping centre, a gym, a spa and a hair salon.Meeting rooms and secretarial services are available. Several restaurants are available offering different styles of food and dining ambiance. These include Japanese, Indian and 'world' cuisine. The Lounge Bar on the lobby level is open until 1 am daily and offers drinks and light meals. The hotel was previously known as the Nikko Metropolitan but is now part of the Summit Hotel and Resorts group.
